November Releases

This is a quick note to let you know of two new releases available for you to keep you company in these weird times.

As I work to keep new material flowing, I wanted to try out an idea I had. Music videos are pretty intensive projects for a one man production house like mine, but I always thought there might be something else possible, which I have always thought of as a visualization. So I’m announcing a new “Music Visualization” for my song “By” from The Blackbird: Vol 1: The Early Years. It’s very simple and relaxing, and perfect for the season we are in, the Autumn Mood. It’s all made of my own private nature video and photography and gives your eyes something to do, while you listen to the song. I’m curious how you find the experience, so do let me know, one way or another.

And secondly, I wanted to let you know that the first “season” of my House Concert Series is now complete. With this series I play solo guitar and sing some of my favorite cover songs and explain a bit about why each song is meaningful to me. This series is just about getting to know me a bit, it’s all quite low tech, but I’ll continue to explore different ways to do this. In this series I cover: Bob Dylans’s “License to Kill”, The Beatles’ “Dear Prudence”, Bruce Springsteen’s “One Step Up”, Paul Simon’s “59th Street Song”, Jorma Kaukonen’s “Genesis”, and Neil Young’s “After The Gold Rush”. The link sends you to the full playlist, so you get a small set of music with one click. Would love to know what you enjoy, as always.

Do take care of yourselves, and remember we are almost out of 2020. I hope next year treats us better! Til next time!
